The Project Proposal & Preliminary Plan (25%) Part B (15%)

1. b. Preliminary Design 15%
The design presentation will be unique to your project and should demonstrate good pedagogy and course structure. You may follow the ADDIE, OTARA or Rapid prototyping methodology. The following guidelines are to be followed as appropriate to your particular project.

o Description of how the learning outcome could be implemented including:
List of objective(s):
·         To provide basic understanding and learning Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences (KSA*) pertaining to Augmented Reality (AR).
·         Providing the learners with knowledge of the software required, and how to create their own basic Augmented Reality app.

List of topics to be covered:
·         What will I learn and achieve from this course: ID key learnings, outcomes.
·         Introduction to Augmented Reality.
·         What is AR being used for: past, present, and the future.
·         Augmented Reality and popular trends and changes around the globe (Statistical trends illustrated*).
·         Where do I start: Software, other preparation requirements.
·         Our first Augmented Reality Development: your life as a AR developer may start here….
·         Let’s get started then: Our 1st Augmented Reality App Development
·         Augmented Reality: Creating relevant and practical Apps and experiences.
·         measurements of achievements: review outcomes and future recommendations for those wishing to progress further.

List of possible activities (include any interactive elements):
·         Review and download provided videos and other media related to AR.
·         Review and download provided PowerPoint information.
·         Review and download provided any other provided data or information.
·         (Optional*) review the links provided and recommended.

How the learning activity/activities will be assessed:
·         Michael (Lecturer) advised it may be suitable for us to put in place measurements of achievements (achieved/ comprehended*) instead of a marking schedule etc

o A graphical design (storyboard) that shows what you intend to create. This may be screen shots from a prototype system, and should include:

A navigation map or diagram of the structure:
Enrol into the course via the EIT online site (the following is an example*):

A diagram showing a typical page (will give an overall design impression)
The following is an example of the current state of a typical page:

A graphical description for each of the “pages”:
The following is a draft of what each of the pages look like (NOTE: they will change in the near future*).

The resources (such as images, animations, sounds, and video) that are required. (These resources may or may not exist yet)
·         Provide basic introduction information, pertaining to Augmented Reality and other relevant things; from the likes of Wikipedia and other sources.
·         APA reference sources of images, animations, sounds and video provided within this paper.
·         Provided examples of how to set up and complete an AR App (personal creation or sourced with references*).
