Assessed Activity 2.2 (2016) Technologies & Assessed Activity 2.3 (2016) Challenges

Assessed Activity 2.2 (2016) Technologies

An example of one of the most memorable technologies integrated into learning:
Adobe Connect:
This is a great tool, if utilized appropriately, to not only conveniently suit the needs of teachers and students alike, but also various other sector and industries around the globe. The lectures are more memorable and I like the availability to be able to simply watch the downloaded clip again, if required. This form of technology also save people time and money (petrol and transport costs lowered/ having breakfast, lunch etc from home is typically more cost-effective etc*).

An example where technology was a barrier to my learning was when I would be trying to learn from home via media, such as Adobe Connect, and the audio would unexpectedly be unavailable; missing key information at times.

Assessed Activity 2.3 (2016) Challenges

The following is a bullet point list describing what I consider to be some of the biggest challenges for ubiquitous and individualized Digital Learning Technology.
* Mobile learning (not everyone has access to the technology or resources to upgrade appropriately etc*).
* Tablet Learning
(not everyone has access to the technology or resources to upgrade appropriately etc*).
* Satellite Learning (extramural or long distance learning*) potentially, sometimes resources and staff/ others will not be available to support and provide guidance, when needed.
* Curriculum Sometimes there will be variations of learning's and experiences, based upon physical and other circumstances (thus potentially resulting in a slight variance in the consistencies of skills, knowledge, & experiences gained*).
